Should I be purchasing My Kit Co. Pro brushes if I am not a makeup artist?

All our brushes are suitable for both makeup artists and makeup lovers. We would encourage anyone wishing to explore their artistry to try out My Kit Co.™ Pro. Please refer to our individual brush tutorials for tips and tricks on usage.

Where does My Kit Co.™ ship to?

My Kit Co.™ offers international shipping and can deliver to most global destinations.

How long will it take for you to process my order?

At My Kit Co.™ we endeavour to process your order within 24 hours. You will receive a confirmation email once your kit has shipped.

The above estimated processing time does not apply during promotional and holiday periods. Please allow additional time for processing, shipping, and delivery of your order during these peak times.

How long will it take for my package to arrive?

Once your order has been processed, we anticipate your delivery to be with you as follows:

UK Shipping:
Express Service: 1-2 Business Days
Standard Service: 3-5 Business Days

Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday will typically be delivered next day, although this is not a guaranteed service.
Can I Track my parcel?

My Kit Co.™ offers a tracked and signed service throughout the UK, Europe and some other international destinations.

Can payment issues affect the processing and delivery of my order?

All processing and delivery times are subject to change due to card validation. My Kit Co.™ reserves the right to delay delivery or cancel any order suspected of fraud or unauthorized activity.

Can you send my purchase as a gift?

My Kit Co.™ is required to send the parcel as stated and cannot alter the description of goods for shipping purposes. Any import fees the package incurs are the sole responsibility of the customer. If the package is retained at the post office, the customer must pay the fees to retrieve it. If the package is not retrieved, the package will eventually be returned to our office and a refund will be issued.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are determined by the package's dimension and weight. My Kit Co.™ automatically calculate this as you add items to your kit. Upon selecting your shipping destination during checkout, shipping costs and options will then be displayed.

Can I modify or cancel my order after it has been submitted?

At My Kit Co.™ we try to process, package and ship your kit as fast as possible. We are therefore sadly unable to modify or cancel orders once submitted. Please thoroughly check your kit, payment and shipment details before confirming your order.

Can I apply a promotional or gift card code to an order I have already submitted?

A promotional or gift card code can only be applied during the checkout stage. No promotional codes can be used once the order has been placed.

How can I make a payment for my order?

All payments are to be made online through our website's secure checkout. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We cannot guarantee that payments from a prepaid credit card will be accepted. We also accept PayPal payments.

What are your hours of operation?

Our business hours are Monday-Friday 10am-5pm GMT.

Orders can be placed on our website at any time. Orders placed after 12pm Friday will usually be processed and shipped on Monday.

Do you test on animals?

My Kit Co.™ does not conduct testing on animals. All My Kit Co.™ natural hair is sourced as by-product and against animal testing.

What is the best way to care for my new My Kit Co.™ brushes?

To ensure the longest life of your My Kit Co. brushes, here are our tips to keep them soft, shiny and clean!

Wash your brushes at least once per week using shampoo, pure olive oil soap or baby oil for more persistent makeup.

1. Wet the brush head in lukewarm water then swirl the tip into the shampoo or soap until it lathers. Continue to swirl until all makeup is removed.

2. Rinse the brush head under running water until all detergent is removed then squeeze out the excess water.

3. Groom the tip of your brush back to it's original shape and leave on a flat surface to dry.

4. For more persistent makeup such as lipstick and eye liner, dip the tip of your brush in baby oil and swirl over a tissue to help break down the product. Shampoo your brush as normal to remove the oil residue.

Avoid submerging the entire bush in water as this will corrode the ferrule over time.

Avoid harsh cleaning solutions as these may damage the natural brush fibres.

Do you offer an Industry/Pro Membership? 

'My Pro Membership' has been created for professional freelance makeup artists, and has been split into Tier 1 (agency) and Tier 2 (non-agency) and Tier 3 (Students/Graduates)

Eligibility for Tier 1 requires proof of representation by an industry approved agency.

Eligibility for Tier 2 requires proof of your own regular freelance work; with at least two supporting documents, including employment ID, call sheets, live website, company registration details etc.

Eligibility for Tier 3 requires proof of enrolment or completion of a course at an accredited and recognised makeup school/college/academy. Your letter of enrolment/certification must be dated within the last 9 months and contain contact details for your course or department leader in order for us to confirm details if necessary.

For either tier, we will require a copy of personal photo ID, such as a passport or driving license.

Successful applicants for Tier 1 will receive a 20% discount on most products sold individually.

Successful applicants for Tier 2 will receive a 15% discount on most products sold individually.

Successful applicants for Tier 3 will receive a 10% discount on most products sold individually.

What happens if theres a typing or pricing error on your website?

In the unlikely event of a mistakenly listed price, My Kit Co.™ reserves the right to cancel or refuse any orders placed for the incorrectly listed product. If your card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is then cancelled, My Kit Co.™ will issue a full refund to the original form of payment to the amount of the incorrect price that was paid.

Am I permitted to resell items either in person or online?

Without written and legal consent to do so, absolutely not. Anyone caught doing so will be liable to legal action being taken against them by My Kit Co. Ltd.
