It feels like everyone is obsessed with cream blush this year and I must admit I am a strong supporter of this trend!
I wanted to pull together a list of some of my favourite cream blushers out there that I love using on myself and my clients! I prefer using different MYKITCO brushes for each one based on the texture of the product to ensure I get the best finish!
Here are my blush and brush recommendations…
CIATE DEWY BLUSH with 0.18 - MY STIPPLING FOUNDATION
When using a glossy liquid blush like this I would pair it with our 0.18 brush, the duo synthetic fibres allow you to effortlessly blend this dewy blush leaving a perfect amount of blush on your cheeks to give a soft and subtle look.
NUDESTIX with 0.6 - MY FLAWLESS CONTOUR
The soft angle on the 0.6 paired with its fine synthetic fibres makes it a perfect brush for a cream balm blusher. By buffing the brush along the natural contours of the cheek you can evenly place the product giving a smooth application.
ROSE INC with 0.11 - MY PERFECT POWDER
To apply a firmer cream blusher I would always go for our 0.11 brush, it has a rounded brush head with soft but dense natural fibres which allows the brush to control product easily and precisely to specific areas you want colour.
GLOSSIER CLOUD PAINT with 0.15 - MY SOFT HIGHLIGHTER
Our 0.15 is the ideal small brush to buff a buildable gel-cream blush like cloud paint onto the cheeks. The flexible natural fibres and tapered shape of the brush ensures you get a flawless blend allowing you to build up layers seamlessly.
MADE BY MITCHELL BLURSH with 0.14 - MY SMOOTHING FOUNDATION
For a quicker drying liquid blush, I like to use the 0.14 brush, the shape itself enables you to work quicker by using the sides to apply and press the product into the cheeks followed by the domed top to blend and disperse the product to leave a beautiful streak free finish.
Whilst these are my personal favourites, there are so many more amazing cream blushes out there for you to try! Just make sure you keep looking to find the perfect shade for you!
Hope you all found my recommendations and tips helpful! Just in case you needed the reminder, makeup is supposed to be fun so why not try it and see if you fall in love!
Have fun!
